Yoga Weekend,  30 oktober - 1 november, 2009
                                                     
Experience a fall weekend of beauty by the sea in the south eastern part of Sweden while you deepen your experience and understanding of yoga, whether you are a beginner och an experienced practitioner.

Friday18.30 - 11.00Partner yoga and rehab yoga
We pair up with a partner and help each other in various yoga postures. We finish up with rehab yoga, where the body rests in yogapostures for a longer time with the help of props.


Saturday 8.00 - 11.00Pranayama och hatha yoga
We start with pranayama exercises and then continue with physical postures from the hatha yoga tradition as it is taught at the Kaivalyadhama institute in India. We will do postures that are not included in the Ashtanga yoga primary series.


16.30 - 18.30Yoga psykologi and kosmologi with practical exercises
We will study some of the theories in Patanali's yoga sutras and illustrate them with various exercises


18.30 - 19.30Evening meal
Soup, sallad and other good stuff according to Ayurvedic traditions with as much organic and locally grown food as possible.
20.00 - 21.30Kirtan
Singing in Indian badyan tradition with a lead singer and responses in unison. The gola of the singing is to create a deep and pleasant medative state of mind.
Sumdayk8.00 - 11.00Pranayama and Ashtanga yoga
We start with pranayama exercises and then coninue with the Ashtanga yoga primary series. The lesson will be led, with variations for practitioners with different capacities.


11.00 -Brunch
"Power porridge", kichari, and other good stuff according to Ayurvedic traditions with as much organic and locally grown food as possible.
